Ling fish has a mild-sweet taste and firm, white flesh that flakes easily and holds its shape well when cooked.

Its texture is often described as light with large flakes.

Preparation: Ling flesh is versatile as it firm and holds its shape well while cooking. The fillets can be pan-fried, sautéed, deep-fry, baked, steamed grilled or broiled.  Often served raw as sashimi or in wok cooking.

Availability: Available year round while stocks last.

Shelf life: 24 months from production date.

 

This product is processed from frozen at sea Ling, so has been twice frozen and must be used once thawed.
