Yellowtail Kingfish has a firm succulent flesh with a low oil content.
Carton contains 20kg of individually vacuum packed fillets ranging in size from 1kg - 3kg.
This product has been processed using latest technology in Seafood Processing. Using a Flavourless, Tasteless & Odourless Smoke this helps to stabilise the colour even when frozen, also helping to extend quality & shelf life.
Preparation: Flesh is dark, but lightens when cooked. Ideal as steaks or a whole fillet. Kingfish can also be used for sashimi and marinated fish dishes such as ceviche etc.
Availability: Available year round while stocks last.
Shelf life: 24 months from production date.
